Keith Shoulders II

My core conviction is simple: help churches and leaders make disciples with clarity, purpose, and intention.

Discipleship by Design was born out of two longstanding passions: helping people grow and engineering systems that actually work.

For 15 years, I led software implementations for corporate companies, learning how the right systems turn good intentions into consistent results. For 7 of those years, I also served in pastoral leadership, where I kept seeing churches with a heart for discipleship but no clear pathway for it. I founded Discipleship by Design to close that gap.

I hold a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.A. in Religion, and I'm currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Ministry at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. As AI reshapes how organizations work, I help churches adopt technology thoughtfully, in ways that honor the values of disciple-making ministry.

I now bring those experiences together through writing, teaching, workshops, leadership training, and conversations that help churches strengthen Christian education and build ministry around intentional disciple-making.
